Formed by pharmacist Shaun Hockey in 2003, PL-UK recruit pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to fill both temporary and permanent positions. Our innovative approach led to the launch of PharmStaff in 2006, the UK`s first recruitment service focusing on the recruitment of pharmacy technicians and medicines counter assistants. PharmStaff is designed to provide temporary cover for events like maternity leave and long term sickness and provides clients with a ready-made replacement for the vacancy that allows them to maintain service levels whilst keeping base spend to a manageable level.

2007 has seen PL-UK Recruitment launch of PL-UK Interims. Placing experienced pharmacists in pharmacies with particular challenges or opportunities, PL-UK interims are engaged to deliver clearly defined programmes of change or transition and can add real value to a community pharmacy. All our interims are either ex-proprietors or pharmacists with at least five years management experience and are fully referenced.
